• Providing printers and converters with options for seamless
round media with laser engraved elastomers
• All of these help to add value through improved quality or speed
How can your products best be used to improve the quality,
consistency and repeatability of print?
Cyber Graphics: Advanced light sources, exposures, plate patterning,
processing and proofing, combined with recorded statistical process
controls, ensure that all plates are 100 percent fit for use. Our annual
audit and certification by two of America’s premier plate suppliers
validate our leading edge technologies.
From the beginning of the packaging workflow, our ultra high resolu-
tion photography and lighting, tailored specifically to the challenges
of flexographic printing, set up packaging designs for success on
press. Cyber Graphics’ unmatched expertise in color science and
imaging technology provides printers with optimal print quality and
color accuracy. Our expanded gamut separation system, CyberXtend,
allows customers to print more complex designs and have confidence
in predictable results that will match their proof. Furthermore, quality
is strictly evaluated at every stage of the graphic workflow to ensure
consistency and reliability on press.
Do you have any significant new product introductions planned in
Cyber Graphics: We will introduce multiple enhancements for plate
performance involving high resolution imaging, LED light exposure
and customized screening. Our ongoing pursuit of seamless media
options will provide our customers with choices that meet their quali-
ty and speed to market needs.
Will the coming months bring any noteworthy product line
Cyber Graphics: We have further enhanced our prototyping capa-
bilities with a flatbed Roland printer for corrugate POP display and
linerboard mockups. This compliments our existing ability to produce
flexible packaging mock ups that are true to substrate with custom-
izable die lines. Standup pouches, gusseted bags, traditional pillows,
shrink wrap, corrugate displays, multipacks, boxes and more are now
all options from our creative services prototyping team.
How can flexographers become better educated on the benefits and
most effective use of the tools and services you offer?
Cyber Graphics: Primarily through direct engagement with our
customers via sales and technical sales supports channels. This
engagement can happen over the Web or face to face and can take
many forms: round table discussions, open house invitations, industry
seminars and training provided by FTA and related conferences. De-
partmental tours, private workshops and discussions can further talks
about how our services match the specific needs of a customer.
Do you have any plans to stage workshops, seminars open houses
or other events that may be pertinent for printers/converters in
2015? What? When? Where?
Cyber Graphics: Our staff regularly participates with FTA, Clemson
University and other industry educational events. We are excited
about the 2015 Annual Forum and INFO*FLEX being held in Nash-
ville, TN—our home state.
Why should INFO*FLEX 2015 delegates plan to network at your
booth? What can they learn? What will you emphasize that can
help make them better printers?
Cyber Graphics: Our size and experience make us a dynamic and
nimble workforce that can improve speed to market for printers by
being more flexible than larger organizations and by maintaining high
quality procedures to ensure work is done right.
Our expertise covers the entire graphic workflow, from design and
prototyping, to prepress and color management, to flat and seamless
imaging. Our advancements in color management and proofing as
well as our developments in screening, photopolymer plate imaging
and light exposing put our offerings at the cutting edge of new tech-
nologies in the industry.
We also believe that our customer engagement through audits, bench-
marking and press characterization will distinguish us in both our
expertise in prepress, as well as in our ability to help our printer cus-
tomers take advantage of new technical innovations that can improve
their printing capabilities.
What industry events will you participate in during 2015? How
and why should flexographers make a point to see your team on
Cyber Graphics: We are actively engaged in industry education, and
frequently contribute to publications and seminars in addition to
industry events. Our own Kevin Bourquin will once again be a session
chair at 2015’s Forum. We can also be found at INFO*FLEX, as well
as PLMA, Clemson educational and training seminars, and various
other training events related to color management, proofing and
We participate in American Society for Quality (ASQ) events, since
quality and process control throughout the workflow is a key priority
at Cyber Graphics. n
