Atlas Die, LLC announced the promotion of Scott Daniel to the
position of CEO. Daniel has served as president of the company since
June of 2014. Prior to joining Atlas Die, Daniel served as president of
Hexacomb Corp. in Buffalo Grove, IL. Daniel has an extensive back-
ground in senior leadership and operations.
FLXON Inc., the Charlotte, NC based
provider of premium SWEDCUT
brand doctor blades for the flexograph-
ic and rotogravure printing industry,
brings Karla Wood on as its new
customer satisfaction specialist. She
will assist the company’s operations in
the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
A graduate of Liberty University in
Virginia, Wood joins FLXON with
previous posts as an award winning
account manager for various industries.
FLXON also appointed Alan Poole
as its new area business development
manager for the Northeast U.S., Que-
bec, and Ontario Regions. Poole joins
FLXON with previous experience as
a sales representative for a premium
Flint Group announced details of its
new Advisory Board. Pierre-Marie De Leener, currently chairman
of the Braas Monier Building Group and a director of Trinseo, has
joined Flint Group and will lead the new Advisory Board as chairman
and successor to Charles Knott. De
Leener has substantial board level
experience at both private equity
and public companies having pre-
viously worked for PPG Industries
and SigmaKalon in the coatings,
specialty materials and glass sector.
Also joining the Board as executive
director is David W. Scheible, who is currently chairman and CEO
of Graphic Packaging, a U.S . public company manufacturing and
marketing folding cartons for food, beverage and consumer applica-
tions around the world. David a U.S. national was also VP and GM
for Avery Dennison’s Specialty Tape and Automotive division, having
previously worked for BF Goodrich.
Flexo Wash is pleased to welcome Keith Young as a regional sales
manager for its Southeast territory. Keith holds a degree in Political
Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH. He has more than 35
years of experience in sales and sales management within printing and
related industries. Keith most recently was with Allied Chemicals and
Pamarco Global Graphics prior to that.
Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation
of America is excited to welcome Mark Snyder
to its dedicated team of technical representatives.
He will be representing Harper in the South-
eastern states and ensuring that customers have
continued access to the company’s high quality
anilox products and services.
Snyder brings with him more than 23 years of
experience in the flexographic industry. He began his career as a press
operator and worked his way through the ink department and eventu-
ally up to print management supervision.
Anderson & Vreeland announced the
appointment of Rob Tolland as product
specialist for AVantage, the complete line of
liquid photopolymer resins manufactured for
flexographic printing, and Margaret Thurston
as Western regional sales manager for Ander-
son & Vreeland, Inc., a leading manufacturer
and distributor of flexographic plate process-
ing equipment and materials.
Tolland will be responsible for sales and sup-
port of AVantage liquid photopolymers and
consumables throughout the U.S. Previously,
he served as regional manager at Anderson
& Vreeland, where he supervised sales and
support for A&V’s customers. He brings to his
new position more than 22 years of technical
sales, production, customer service and man-
agement experience in the flexo industry.
Thurston will supervise sales and support for A&V’s customers
throughout the western U.S . comprising a 13 state area. She brings to
her new position more than one quarter century of technical sales,
training, customer service and management experience. Thurston
was formerly digital imaging specialist with sales responsibilities for
companies including SourceOne, Fuji Graphic Systems and Pitman.
Pamarco Global Graphics, in an effort to strengthen its position
in the flexographic printing industry, has appointed Dan Foy as the
Flexo Division’s technical sales representative for the Mid South
region of the U.S.
With a background including more than 20 years
in the flexographic printing industry, Dan draws
from his experience with anilox roll manufacturing,
technical service and sales to offer effective solu-
tions for optimum print quality and efficiency. Dan
has contributed to the industry through technical
presentations at national and regional forums and
in plant seminars.
