GIRONA, Spain—Comexi has released its
new corporate image. The group renewed
its brand in order to strengthen its corpo-
rate identity and enhance its appearance in
the flexible packaging field.
Comexi has developed its corporate image
project in order to “emphasize the Comexi
brand and give it greater presence,” stressed
Marketing Director David Centelles. In
this sense, the most visible change is the
removal of the word “Group” in the new
corporate brand, with the aim of enhanc-
ing “Comexi” as the main identification
element. The Comexi logo has also evolved
into a more modern and distinctive aes-
thetic with a higher marked typography.
The renewal process has been completed
with the launch of a new website that is
smarter, more visual and easily navigable.

and Gallus Printing Machinery Corp.
(the North American agents) have been
integrated into the packaging business of
Heidelberg and renamed Heidelberg Web
Carton Converting. All contact phone
numbers and emails remain the same
(including the “Gallus-group” email suffix).
Sales and service personnel are the same.
The newly named Heidelberg Web Carton
Converting focuses on three areas: ser-
vices, consumables and equipment. The
company’s inline webfed solutions produce
billions of folding cartons per year for cos-
metics, health and body care, pharmaceu-
tical, confectionery, tobacco, food, lottery
and many other industries.
TRESU Sells Press to WestRock,
Partners with Apex International
KOLDING, Denmark—TRESU Group announced
the sale of an 8-color hybrid Flexo Innovator to
WestRock Co. of Norcross, GA. The press, accommo-
dating water based ink, UV OPV coating media and
inline finishing capabilities, will be installed at the
WestRock facility in Eutaw, AL by the end of 2016.
Additionally, TRESU DigitalSolutions and Apex Inter-
national have formed a global research, development
and training partnership. Sharing expertise and facilities, the two companies aim to improve
the performance of coating technology for sheetfed digital printing applications, and to
enhance customer service for users of TRESU’s iCoat Single and Twin sheetfed coaters.
Goss International Acquires
DG press’ Thallo Product Line
DURHAM, NH—Goss International announced a new strategic partnership with web offset
and service specialist DG press ServiceS bv. As part of this agreement, Goss has acquired DG
press’ Thallo product line, expanding the Goss web offset packaging portfolio.
In the new partnership, DG press will continue to manufacture the Thallo press platform
and service/sell the system in Europe, while Goss will utilize its global sales, service and
distribution network to target customers in the U.S., Africa and Asia Pacific.
