One of TEST’s core goals is to aligning learning outcomes to FIRST. training curriculum would also be aligned to FIRST outcomes. TEST is already see- ing the benefits of providing trainers and instructors with a more standardized curriculum that gives industry members a more focused, up-to-date learning ex- perience. Stay tuned for more updates on progress in the Education, Training, and Curriculum category during TEST’s sec- ond year. Although the remaining two TEST task categories were not prioritized at the top of the task list, we should mention that TEST also reached a milestone in the Marketing, Branding, and Sponsorship category in May 2008 by establishing a process for ensuring all TEST-related sponsorships receive consistent recogni- tion for their dedication to education. Progress in this category will continue as TEST will be opening up the Virtual Campus class buildings for sponsorship opportunities in the coming months. And, finally, we would like to mention that, in the Accreditation and Certification cat- egory, the ground work was laid in late September for FIRST certification for pre- press, press, and full-company levels. TEST will continue to provide updates on prog- ress in this area as yet more milestones are met.
