Apex Active in Latin America, Appoints Dercilio Oliveira Apex Group of Companies, headquar- tered in the Netherlands, has appointed Dercilio Oliveira as sales area manager for Apex Latin America. Individual service can now be given in Latin America, tailored to the needs of the local market and spoken in the national language, either Spanish or Portuguese. Oliveira has a professional history in techniques as well as commerce. He started working as a mechanical engineer in Brazil. In 1990, he moved to the U.S. working in import/export businesses to/ from Latin America. Approximately one year ago, Oliveira started working in the flexographic industry as vice president of international sales of anilox rolls. Gary Pitsinger, 60 Gary Pitsinger, technical spe- cialist for Color Resolutions International of Fairfield, OH, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 20, while on an assignment in Tennessee. He was 60. Gary had been with Color Resolutions since 1997 and in his position had trav- elled throughout the U.S., Mexico and South America, working closely with many corrugated converters. Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He received sever- al commendations, including The Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. Services were held at Girton-Schmidt- Boucher Funeral Home in Eaton, OH on Thursday, Sept. 25th.
