TWOMEY: This Forum is a call to ac- tion. Today's economic conditions demand it! Attendance at this conference should not be missed. There are six days of activi- ties in which you and all FT A members can participate. Our goal is to provide you with information, ideas, potential employees and interns, action assignments and a bag of literature! The agenda and challenge has been set. We chose our keynote speaker very early on. The economy concerns all of us, and we felt leading the Forum with this subject, specific to our market, was best. Jeff Rosensweig, Ph.D., a noted professor at Emory University, came recommended to us as someone who could draw members to the Forum. His keynote address on how to survive and thrive in today's economy from a global standpoint is the perfect way to start Forum. This keynote will educate our membership on what is going on glob- ally, where there may be growth areas, and how we can continue to think positively about our market! You just plain will get much more bang for your buck at Forum 2009 than any other industry event! Q . How did you arrive at the Forum . theme? ENGELKE: We're uN avigating the Future of Flexo!" That means we have historic areas of interest; that we are trying to re-shape some others to keep up with our evolving times; and that we're creating new ones, that based on past Forum evaluations, are of interest to members. Navigating the future recognizes we are in a global economy. Our keynote will set the stage for what is going on globally in our industry, as well as industries that compete with and comple- ment it. The Flexo 'Round the World Session will enable us to find out what we as industry members around the world are doing to meet our challenges. Opening the Forum with this kind of valuable informa-
