ASSOCIATION NEWS FTA/FFTA 2009-2010 Board Officers Seated At Foundation of FTA (FFTA) Forum 2009, the Association announced the new slate of officers for the Board of Directors (FTA) and its Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Greg Collins (C-P Flexible Packaging) was introduced as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. He succeeds Dave Neiman (All Printing Resources), who retains a seat on both the FTA and FFTA boards. Greg Platt (GMF Flexo Prepress) was named FTA Chairman-Elect, and will succeed Collins at the conclusion of his two-year term. Gary Hilliard (Hood Packaging Corp.) entered his second year as FFTA’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees. In addition, Michael Impastato (Flint Group) continues as FFTA Chair-Elect and vice chair of Project Evaluations. Also maintaining roles on both boards are: Larry Claton (Aquaflex), who will act as Treasurer; Michael Reinhardt (Windmoeller & Hoelscher), who fulfills the role of vice chair of Solicitations; Gene Martin (The Robinette Co.), who acts as vice chair, Scholarships; David Straten (Advance Packaging Corp.), who continues as vice chair, Printers/Converters; Jean Jackson (Praxair Surface Technologies), vice chair, Supplier and Prepress; Matt Moffett (The Meyers Printing Co.) vice chair, CPC and Education; as well as Roxanne Baker (Cryovac Sealed Air), Michael Ferrari (Procter & Gamble), Eric Jones (The Label Co.), and James Nelson (Great Lakes Packaging Co.). Paul Lancelle (Eastman Kodak Co.) has completed two consecutive terms on both boards, and will step down. Doug Nelson (Anderson & Vreeland) has also concluded a second term on the FFTA Board. During the Education Reception at FFTA Forum 2009 in Lake Buena Vista, FL, 10 scholarships were announced for 10 students enrolled in or entering collegiate-level flexographic printing programs. Those recipients were.
