FTA TODAY This year’s INFO*FLEX featured the Education Pavilion, in which students from colleges and universities offering fl exographic printing programs could showcase their school’s curriculum, their own work, etc. Education at the Forefront Students and Schools in the Spotlight at FFTA Forum 2009 By Joe Tuccitto I nnovate, Educate, Communicate—a threefold agenda executed at FFTA’s 2009 Annual Forum and INFO*FLEX Exhibition (May 3-6) designed to help attendees “Navigate the Future of Flexo.” Forum Chair Colleen Larkin Twomey and Co-chair Jean Engelke shared their vision of having educational institutions from around North America on display to allow the membership to see fi rsthand what is happening in colleges and universities. “The amount of schools offering fl exo education has grown tremendously over the years. I’d be willing to bet that the majority of the FTA membership does not have an understanding of just how many schools are out there,” noted Twomey. With FTA’s TEST (Technical Education Services Team) preparing to celebrate its second year of conception, FTA and the Forum Committee took “Educate” to an entirely new level for Forum goers.
