Present at Forum 2010 FFTA Forum 2010 is focused on the contacts, content, concepts and commerce that the FTA membership and the industry in general is looking for. What would you like to communicate on these need-toknow issues? FTA will be accepting and reviewing abstracts submitted on or before Sept. 18 for the following sessions: Emerging/New Trends/Technology. This session will have a somewhat relaxed commercialism policy, so that presenters can arm attendees with information that is both valuable and actionable. FIRST. Share your success stories with attendees at the FIRST session. Flexo 101. What are the fundamen- tals of fl exo printing that every fl exographer should know? How has the process evolved, what kind of markets does the process cater to, and what are some recent developments that lead to increased productivity? FQC (Flexo Quality Consortium). The purpose of this session is to update and inform membership of the active research projects supported by the FQC and to solicit input for projects of interest in the future. Inks. What are the novel ink technologies that are being utilized today (and tomorrow) and how do they meet the requirements of brand color management and increase shelf appeal for the CPC? Prepress. In this session our aim is to provide attendees with a hands-on approach to brand color management, typography, proofi ng and design for fl exo. Substrates. What are the latest advancements in substrate developments and how do they directly affect costs, printing and productivity? Sustainability. Help attendees sort through the myriad of green information to help them better understand the terminology, and the risks and opportunities.
