drupa 2012, May 3-16 in Dusseldorf, Germany, is likely to be a watershed event for "game-changing" innova- tion that will be of great interest to U.S.-based graphic arts companies and their customers. Show planners, Messe Dusseldorf, operating under the theme "One World---One drupa," recently released a state-of-the industry report on green printing, 1,000 days out from launch. They predict, "Print will survive," but warn that supply chains must be reconfigured to, "use energy and materials more eco- efficiently, while meeting the requirement for triple bottom line results that are economically viable, environmentally restorative and socially constructive."
