The difficulty was the customer ’s request to print areas showing the foil on the edge of some print. The look appears to be out of register and was difficult to hold customer’s proof. Inks were brought to press in density range and recorded standard control targets that include the FTA FIRST target set. Process, MetaLLized Silver Amscan Inc. Mounting: Mechanical Press type & Mfg.: Central Impression, Windmoeller & Hoelscher Speed & Plate Screen Count: 550fpm, 110lpi Sequence: White, yellow, rubine, cyan, PMS 1777, PMS 2915, black, PMS 27269. Comments: Balloon was printed four-color process at 110 line screen with 700 line 3.0 BCM anilox rolls, three additional spot colors, surface-printed over one white on light gauge Mylar. Design was challenging because the screen work needed transparent look while printing in spot purple.
