He has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Illinois and 24 years of industrial experience in UV/EB curing technology. Lapin has 22 U.S. Patents on UV/EB curing technology and is a founding member of RadTech International trade association. Steve Lundahl is a partner at Palermo Lundahl Industries, a company special- izing in sales and laboratory services to the radiation curing industry. He has his BS in Chemistry from NDSU and has 25 years technical experience in UV/EB technology including both the product development and raw material sup- ply sides of the business. Lundahl has developed and commercialized many groundbreaking products in inks and coatings as has most recently been fo- cusing on food packaging applications. The pho- toinitiator package will be optimized to provide just enough UV curing for dry trapping ink prior to final EB cure.
