INSIDE KITCHEN TRENDS Europe stamps its mark COLOUR IMPACT Brushing up on kids' rooms IN VOGUE Formica comeback PRODUCTS Top pick of the week Warmer tones Janita Singh Warmer tones It is true that painting your house can almost change your life. Painting your walls can transform the look and feel of your home and is one of the cheapest way to make a difference to any room. Usually, with the change of weather, we feel like making small changes. Whether we decide to do an overall cleaning or just fancy an innovation, one of the most practical and most pleasant things to do is give our home a new colour. As in any projects, think through carefully. When painting outdoors, it might be a good thing to consider the neighbourhood buildings, borrowing ideas from them, but without copying their colours. The landscape is a fantastic source of inspiration, with a natural palette of green and brown. Indoors, consider the feel you want and function of each room. This winter if you just want to add warmth with little changes, why not buy a new rug or throw, or add a few more cosy cushions and new-look heaters. 1300 364 290 The Trusted Outdoor Additions Specialist PERGOLAS DECKS OPENING ROOFS CARPORTS www.pergolaland.com.au Visit our Showroom N 0
