FLEXO Magazine : December 2010
To support Pamarco's corporate strategy of Precision, Consistency, Performance and Service, Pamarco has made significant capital investments for 2011 within its Flexo Divisions in the United States and Europe purchasing three 500W solid state fiber op c lasers systems to service the flexible packaging and label markets. This marks the comple on of Pamarco's conversion from CO2 to solid state lasers and demonstrates the company's commitment to reinves ng in the company. The new equipment includes two 3.5M systems equipped with the latest MBA Mark V and solid state 500W lasers, and one 5M MBA Mark V with a 500W solid state laser to support the Jumbo anilox roll sales. The systems will be installed in the Batavia, Atlanta and La Palma plants during 2011 and 2012, wit the European plant seeing the benefits of this technology from its installa on of the 500W system in 2010. The new lasers are part of a global strategy to increase efficiency and to enhance capacity due to the influx of EFloTM engraving technology sales and consistent growth in anilox roll sales. EFloTM, is a revolu onary product aimed at the flexible packaging, narrow web and corrugated markets especially when looking to print a combina on of screens and solids. Since its launch in February 2010, Pamarco has sold more than five hundred EFloTM rolls in excess of $1,200,000 in sales including several OEM demonstra on facili es around the world. Coupled with our New EraTM ceramic coa ng, EFloTM has set new standards in density and release characteris cs. And because this technology is so consistent and can accommodate any prin ng job, it has been considered a game changer in flexographic prin ng. In addi on to its investment in technology, Pamarco has also con nued to develop increasing technical support and dealer networks around the globe. In 2011 the company plans to make major advances in South America and Asia in effort to be er service our growing customer base in those areas. Also, with a new and improved website that was launched in 2010, Pamarco has made it easier for customers to navigate and browse through the wide range of products. The website has also been used by the companies sa sfied customers to share their experience with Pamarco's quality products and services. By u lizing industry knowledge, extensive product offerings and advanced technological capabili es Pamarco develops solu ons for customers around the world.
