In Italy, three major newspapers—La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera and La Stampa—are all using its high-tech equipment. Hampshire’s S4 is a double-wide press configuration with six units that can produce 48 pages of broadsheet and 96 pages of four-color tabloid that can print up to 80,000 copies per hour. At that rate the Gazette’s daily circulation press run of around 17,500 will be done in less than one hour. This gives more press time for commercial work as well as printing other NNE publications.?
