PRODUCT DATA SHEET NewTrol® DGF NewTrol® DGF aqueous flexographic inks are specifically formulated with a unique chemistry to meet the challenges of producing high quality corrugated printing on newer higher speed presses without the need to monitor pH. Water should be the only necessary additive at the press. NewTrol DGF inks have been proven to provide superior press stability over long press runs, particularly on corrugated stocks such as mottled or bleached substrates. NewTrol DGF inks can be matched to GCMI colors, Pantone®, or specialty colors. These inks clean up easily and will not plug anilox screens or dry hard on plates. Printers seeking to achieve the highest quality possible on corrugated substrates require the level of performance that the NewTrol DGF line has to offer. This ink system is formulated to perform well on presses with in-line die- cutting using anilox rolls ranging from 180 to 360 lines per inch. NewTrol DGF is designed for coated to Kraft substrates, yields a good gloss finish and is suitable for single blade and roll-to-roll wiping systems. This system remains stable and soluble on press while exhibiting the desirable characteristic of fast setting for use with in- line converting. NewTrol DGF Characteristics: • Excellent resolubility • Ability to dry properly on coated, Mottled, and Natural Kraft substrates • High transparency and gloss • Fast drying formulations for presses not equipped with dryers • Press ready viscosity Performance Features Include: • pH/Viscosity Stability - No pH adjusters needed • High Transfer - Good color densities • Cleaner Printing - Less downtime to clean plates Cleanup: For optimal performance, press fountains and equipment should be cleaned thoroughly before use. It is suggested that the press be cleaned with soap and rinsed well with water before running NewTrol DGF inks Low Barium: No barium is intentionally added to the formulations. Color Resolutions International (CRI) formulates ink systems using unique, proprietary chemistry that is both environmentally and application friendly. Each system has been designed with specific press configurations and substrates in mind. However, CRI will custom formulate, upon request, inks to meet almost any set of performance criteria. Please consult with your CRI Technical Sales/ Service Representative to assist you in choosing the proper ink system for your application. 575 Quality Blvd. Fairfield, Ohio 45014 P: 800-346-8570 F: 513-552-7141 www.colorresolutions.com
