It weighs less than 7 kg, which makes changes easier and minimizes risks of injury for the operator. Changing the blade is fast and safe thanks to the patented MAGNETBlade technology consisting of a tool-free magnetic changing system. Changing the shutters is also conducted without tools, so that changes can be completed quickly, on the machine or outside of it. USER FRIENDLY FLEXOEfficiency represents continuous improvements and excellence in terms of ergonomics and user-friendliness. The press is equipped with an overhead platform that allows ac- cess to all elements requiring maintenance, with the purpose of simplifying parts replacement; as well as upkeep and cleaning in areas such as, the central drum, refrigeration and drying systems, and many others. For instance, the entire dry- ing system rests on a platform, allowing convenient access for maintenance tasks. With regard to a self-cleaning and inking system, the tech- nology is essential for controlling the inks (viscosity, tempera- ture and, optionally, pH), so that the self-cleaning system re- mains efficient during job changes. The technology maintains a balance between supply ink and return ink that guarantees printing with an optimal pressure in the inking chamber. The structure is completely integrated into the machine’s casing and the ink tanks are located on the exterior. These tanks use NATURALMixing technology, which eliminates air consump- tion from pneumatic agitators (pneumatic agitation is an option). The self-cleaning process is fast and easy, with a complete wash cycle taking as little as 4 minutes. Finally, a concept based on a SIMOTION platform, allows high electronic integration, eliminates covers for electronic equipment and facilitates maintenance tasks.
