Currently available in English and soon accessible in seven other languag- es, this interactive content, based on the popular white paper first published in April 2011, has been thoroughly revised and includes new details on the benefits of emerging technologies such as the DuPontTM Cyrel® DigiFlow flexographic workflow, a modified ultraviolet (UV) main exposure system that enables lin- ear copy and improved solid ink density. “ The past, present and future technol- ogies that drive the flexographic printing industry to meet the increasing demands for faster output, higher quality and greater sustainability are explored here in engaging new ways,” said Michael Buri, global brand manager- DuPont Packaging Graphics. “ T he interactive medium is designed to appeal to for- ward thinking printing professionals, to provide education, insight and the kind of shared understanding that leads to true collaboration and continued positive progress for the industry. ” Anderson & Vreeland Acquires Flexolution Anderson & Vreeland announced the acquisition of Flexolution, leading dis- tributor of flexographic printing materi- als in Canada, serving Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The acquisition is part of Anderson & Vreeland’s strategic growth initiative to provide expanded service and support to North American customers. Flexolution, founded in 1989 by Pierre Noël, has a Montreal sales/warehouse and a long and successful history in servicing the flexographic and packag- ing markets. “ Pierre’s success with the Flexolution team allows us to better serve the Canadian market in one bold move,” said Thomas Gavin, chief executive offi- cer of Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. “ Pierre’s intense drive and commitment to provide better service and performance is in perfect sync with Anderson & Vreeland’s core values.” Noël noted, “A&V’s state-of- the-art product line and well-recognized technical support are tremendous strengths that will better serve our cus- tomers.
