FTA TODAY Attendees’ Accolades FTA’s Fall Conference: “Packed with Relevant Information” FTA put “Color In Focus” before an audience of nearly 300 flexographers, Oct. 10-12, 2011, as it staged its an- nual Fall Conference. The assembly consisted largely of printers; but suppliers, prepress technicians, consumer product companies, educators, and students were repre- sented as well. Co-chaired by Mark Mazur, DuPont Packaging Graphics and Dan Collins, Berry Plastics; the event was staged at the Marriott Union Station, St. Louis, MO; where the 34 confer- ence sponsors who manned the tabletop exhibits, and 14 featured speakers , kept the conversation and networking continuous. • Attendance records were shattered! • Presenters were lauded for their attention to detail. • Capacity crowds filled the rooms. CONFERENCE & CONCEPTS • Networking Experience = 34 Exhibitors & Sponsors, 14 Featured Speakers, 296 Delegates. • Theme = “Color in Focus.” • Attendees’ Assessment = “Great Content & Excellent Take-Aways. ” • Message = “Packaging Development is a Process-- from Sourcing to Destination. ” • Printers expressed excitement. Suppliers voiced praise. Exhibitors proclaimed satisfaction. CPCs credited thought-provoking insights. Educators returned to the classroom ready to share new-found knowledge. A near capacity crowd listened attentively.
