FLEXO Magazine : February 2012
Dear Forum Attendee, Welcome to FTA’s 2012 Annual Forum, “Flexo: Brand of Choice”. My co-chair, Bob Mullen, and I want to thank you for taking the time to come to San Antonio to participate in what will be a great learning and networking experience for everyone involved in the flexographic printing industry. I would also like to thank my company, Printpack, who has been 100% supportive of my time being devoted to this great program. The Forum Committee has worked diligently over the past year to build an agenda that addresses the needs and concerns that we are all presented with in these changing times. Our goal was to encompass the entire process and show you where Flexo is today, as it competes with the other printing processes (Offset, Gravure and Digital). Suffice to say this program is one that you will be discussing long after you leave. A big part of every Forum is the INFO*FLEX Exhibition. Be sure to visit the show floor and join in the celebration as we mark its 30th anniversary. You’ll find INFO*FLEX is a great opportunity to spend time with many industry leaders who can help you with whatever issues or challenges you currently face. Or, you can just catch up with people in the industry that you may not have seen since last year, or last week. I have enjoyed working with Bob and the many other members of our team who have graciously volunteered their time and effort to make Forum 2012 a success. Now, it is up to you to absorb the great deal of information that will be presented over the next few days and take home many practices and principles that will help you benchmark the present and plan for the future. Best regards, Randy Butler Randy Butler, Printpack, Inc. 2012 Forum Chair 2 greetings Greetings
