Look in the kitchen for ideas: old pots and pans and cast-off colanders can make interesting plant holders. Here are some other ideas to make pots lively: Be bold: When shopping, look for pots in bright colours. Spring clean: All those old pots at home can be given a new lease of life with a good clean. Make this a fun, fam- ily affair. Make old new: There is no need to replace an old pot in good shape. It may look a little tired but a quick lick of paint can help. Extras: Get children to paint designs on the pots: create a mosaic or paste garden ornaments on them.
