GETTING PERSONNEL Adhesives Research---Kim Weigle has been promoted to vice president of manufacturing. She has been with the company since 1978, starting as a QC technician and most recently serving as director of manufacturing operations. In addition, Justin D. Adley and Timothy J. Salzman are the new southeast sales rep and midwest U.S. sales reps respectively for the splicing business unit. Brookfield Engineering Laboratories---Eric Chiang has been appointed senior sales engi- neer. He will provide sales assistance and tech- nical support for both domestic and internation- al markets. He will also serve on the Brookfield Training team. Harper Corporation of America---Bill Malm has joined Harper GraphicSolutions as Midwest/west coast technical graphics advi- sor. As a longtime veteran of the packaging industry, he will be responsible for offering technical solutions to customers and helping maximize the efficiency of operations. Maxcess---Joe Beaton rejoins the team to pro- vide customer support in Eastern New York, Vermont, Western Massachusetts and most of Connecticut. Robert James has come on board as the representative for Ohio. Montalvo---Sonja Reynolds has been hired as customer service supervisor in the sales department. She will serve as a contact with customers, take and process product orders, help schedule with production and pass tech- nical support questions to the appropriate specialists. Pamarco Global Graphics---Dave McBeth has assumed the role of vice president of sales and general manager of the Canadian operation based in Vaughan, ON. He has more than 24 years experience in the printing and graphic arts industry. He previously served as vice president sales and marketing for Pamarco Global Graphics Europe, successfully realigning the European sales force, strengthening the alliances with some of the major OEMs. Tesa Tape---Jeffrey Smith has taken the post of sales specialist covering industrial markets in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana and Kentucky.
