Technologies & Techniques In-Line Automated Web Controls Maintain Margins, Reduce Waste By Randy Freeman High-performance video inspection and spectral color measurement systems offer standardized, consistent print quality and significant reduction in startup waste on flexo packaging presses. They also minimize the need for human intervention or press stops. The very latest systems en- sure quality on almost all film and paper substrates, including transparent, supported, unsupported, and reflective materials. An in-line inspection with color measurement system comprises a spectral sensor, video cameras with lighting and software to process the image.
