Next year's con- ference will take place May 3-5 at Disney's Coronado Spring Resort, Orlando, FL. Forum 2009 Call for Papers N ow is your chance to participate in FFTA's Annual Forum agenda. Submit your proposal for a presentation by July 18 to be considered. All submissions must meet the follow- ing criteria: · Be 250 words or less · Accurately and succinctly describe the content and scope of presentation · Include your complete contact information · Include abstract title Abstracts must be submitted online at www.flexography.org/abstracts.cfm. Become a 2009 Excellence Awards udCJe FTA is seeking individuals to serve as judges in the 2009 Excellence in Flexography Awards Competition. This awards program aims to recognize the industry's best and brightest in the field of flexographic print- ing. The competition, held each year in early February, runs 2-3 days. Thirty-six judges, divided into six teams, will evaluate both the level of execution and the degree of difficulty in the following categories: wide web, mid web, narrow web, folding cartons, napkins, combined corrugated, preprinted linerboard, envelopes, towel/tissue, newspa- pers/publications, self-promotion, students and graphic design. We hope you can lend your expertise to this exciting and ever-growing awards program. It is a wonderful way to see the best examples of our craft, and to make new contacts in the field.
