The eTool provides insight to help prevent musculo- skeletal disorders (MSDs) that may result from workplace activities. This includes lifting heavy items, lifting too often, or working in awkward body postures... .OSHA Alliance is re- newed with educating printers about machine guarding and lockout tag out being the main focus....U.S. EPA releases the new Control Technique Guideline (CTG) affecting air emis- sions from flexible packaging printers. 2007 2007-ln what is hailed as FFTA's "Most Important Educational Initiative Ever," a Technical Education Services Team (TEST) is established. It will focus on the educational needs of FTA membership and be dedicated to authoring, re- authoring and hosting curriculums to meet the needs of an ever-changing industry. TEST will address issues identified via FTA's Strategic Planning Initiative and work to positively rebuild FFTA's educational services to provide enhanced support for existing education-secondary, post-secondary and higher institutions, as well as creating a state-of-the-art web-based training portal-The Virtual Campus. (see sidebar, page 105) A new FLEXQ column, authored in collaboration with FT A- member educational institutions-TEST Tidbits- begins appearing in FLEXQ. 110 FTA 50th Anniversary Journal 2005 200S-FTA unveils plans and look for its entirely new, "Members Only" Web site. The purpose is to allow members personalized access to a wealth of information regarding the Association, its foundation, its products and services. Features include a FLEXO article archive, SourceBook Online, industry happenings, a searchable Member Directory, plus FTA Bylaws and organizational documents. First installment of FLEXQ's Printers 8( QjJ.estions-Ps 8( -appears. The standing column, serving as a monthly poll of the industry's movers and shakers continues to this day.
