FLEXO Magazine : April 2013
Greetings 4 Dear Forum Attendee, Welcome to FTA’s 2013 Annual Forum, “Right Here, Right Now.” In this, FTA’s 55th year of existence, my co-chair Pepper Stokes and I are especially pleased to welcome you to beautiful San Diego and to thank you for taking the time to participate in what we believe will be a great learning and networking experience for everyone involved in the flexographic printing industry. I would also like to thank the entire staff of the FTA/FFTA for their tremendous work and recognize the support given to me from my company, Sun Chemical Corporation for their complete support of my time spent with this Forum during the past year. The Forum Committee has worked diligently over the past year to build an agenda and present a dynamic group of presenters so that the constantly changing needs and concerns of the flexographic industry can be discussed. Our goal was to present topics that are dramatically affecting our industry and discuss processes and trends that will become realities in our business for years to come. It is our hope that the presentations will act as a springboard for your future discussions and action plans upon returning home to your respective businesses. As always, the INFO*FLEX Exhibition will prove to be the place to witness new technologies, discuss your business applications, network with old friends and meet new contacts. The show floor will be packed with individuals and companies wishing to discuss how your business life can be improved. Extra presentations are also taking place on the INFO*FLEX floor in the Solutions Theater and our hope is that you’ll find a combination of business and pleasure during your time spent with your industry peers. Once again, it has been my absolute pleasure to work with Pepper Stokes, the entire FTA/FFTA staff, the session chairs and co-chairs and all of the speakers who have volunteered to make your 2013 FTA Forum experience an educational, productive and enjoyable one. Enjoy the Forum and enjoy San Diego! Best regards, Bob Mullen, Sun Chemical Corporation 2013 Forum Chair
