Flint Group Flexographic Products Expands Equipment Range STUTTGART, Germany—Flint Group Flexographic Products has introduced new additions to its equipment portfolio with its nyloflex Dryer Fill and Light Finisher FIII systems. The Dryer Fill features a three chamber design with individual temperature controls that enable energy savings and increased drying efficiency. The Light Finisher FIII utilizes high performance UV-A and UV-C tubes to produce short process- ing times. Lamps are fitted with elec- tronic ballast and start simultaneously. Tubes’ operating hours are metered and recorded as well. Strongest gains are said to be seen when using the Dryer Fill and Light Finisher FIII in conjunction with the nyloflex NExT Exposure FIII, which uses high intensity UV-A LEDs. The high lev- el of UV emission leads to a significant improvement in the reproduction of the fine relief elements. When combined with high resolution surface screening, the resulting surface texture of the flat top dots provides an optimal surface to enhance ink laydown, ink density and consistency in printing.
