To sum it up, 32 years later INFO*FLEX is the most compre- hensive networking event for the packaging, printing and converting industry. FLEXO®: What can attendees look forward to at this year’s event? KAIBLE: This year attendees will see the largest INFO*FLEX to date. They will see 215 companies, of which 35 are tradi- tional/digital press manufacturers. They will have access to hundreds of new solutions and new product releases, plus 10 presentations in the Solutions Theater that are geared toward providing the tools to help them become better printer/ converters. This all takes place in the best networking envi- ronment in the industry. FLEXO®: Why is Baltimore a great location? KAIBLE: Baltimore offers easy and affordable access to both our domestic and international attendees. The Baltimore Inner Harbor offers a friendly business atmosphere with many attractions and restaurants to choose from. FLEXO®: How does the number of vendors, attendees, sellout rate, etc. compare to last year? KAIBLE: Last year INFO*FLEX was a sellout with 205 vendors and 245 booths sold. This year we already have 250 booth units sold and we still have two months to go. Total capacity is 262 booth units and we will end up with a little more than 215 vendors. FLEXO®: How many exhibitors are INFO*FLEX veterans? How many are first timers? KAIBLE: In broadest terms, 50 companies have never missed a show. Sixty percent have been coming for 10 or more years. Ten percent are new exhibitors this year. FLEXO®: In preparing for this year’s INFO*FLEX, were there any trends that became apparent?
