And that's how you become a leader: by design. PERFORMANCE. PRECISION. PRODUCTIVITY. IT'S ROTOFLEX. D'Angelo Joins Goss International as Managing Director, Americas DURHAM, NH---Goss International has appointed Mike D'Angelo, an executive with more than 30 years of experience in the printing and packaging industries, to the newly created posi- tion of managing director for the Americas. D'Angelo will lead the extensive Goss sales, service and support organization, addressing requirements of commercial, packaging and newspaper printing operations through- out North America and Latin America. With his industry specific experience, he will also play an important role as Goss expands its portfolio and presence in the packaging and converting sector. D'Angelo has held sales and executive positions since 1982 with Bobst, one of the world's largest suppliers of press and auxiliary equipment for packaging and converting. He most recently led the business unit responsible for web fed prod- ucts and was a member of the company's executive commit- tee in North America. Goss president and CEO Rick Nichols says the appoint- ment of D'Angelo is in line with a transformation of the company 's organizational structure in response to changing requirements of customers. Goss has created four regional centers responsible for sales, service and support for the Americas, Europe, China and Asia. "The environment that our customers operate in is fun- damentally changing and, along with highly efficient and cost effective technology, they are looking for increasingly responsive service and support capabilities to optimize the performance of that technology," Nichols said. "Our support network already differentiates Goss in the Americas, and Mike's background puts him in a unique position to help us further strengthen and coordinate that network." D'Angelo is a graduate of Villanova University. He has served on the board of directors of the Flexible Packaging Association and the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation. He is also a current or former member of FTA, the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, the Paperboard Packaging Council and the Gravure Association of America. 16 FLEXO APRIL 2014 www.flexography.org MEMBERS & MANEUVERS
