He will be representing Harper on the West Coast and ensuring that customers have contin- ued access to Harper’s high quality anilox products and services. Ellis brings with him a wealth of experience across the industry. He began his career selling doctor blades for flexographic and gravure printing and relocated from North Carolina to support West Coast sales. After several years he shifted into the die cutting field and worked with an international company to introduce their products to the North American market. Combining his years of experience and diverse knowledge, Ellis is thrilled to become part of the Harper team. He recognizes that anilox rolls are integral to the success of flexographic printing and strives to extend the reach of these prod- ucts to even more customers. Tinsey Named CEO at WS Packaging BOSTON, MA—WS Packaging Group, Inc. has announced that Fred C. Tinsey has been appointed CEO ef- fective March 31. Tinsey, a former WS Packaging director, joins the company from OE Quality Friction Corp., where he served as chairman, previously serving as CEO. “ We are very pleased to have an individual with Fred’s strong qualifi- cations leading WS Packaging,” said WS Packaging Group chairman Art Byrne. “ T he company has a sustained history of growth due to its industry leading innovations, strong customer focus, strategic capital investments and lean centered principles to work to deliver innovative, cost effective solutions to our customers.” Tinsey replaces Rex Lane who has left the company to pursue a personal business opportunity. Omet’s Plans Upcoming “Open Doors” Event at Italy HQ LECCO, Italy—Omet is proud to invite customers to its “Pure Imagination” event at its headquarters from May 6 to May 8 in Lecco, Italy.
