Windell McGill Named AVT President of Americas HOD-HASHARON, Israel—Advanced Vision Technology (AVT) Ltd, has named Windell McGill as president of the Americas. In this position McGill, who will work from AVT’s Atlanta, GA offices, will manage all activities in North and Latin America, including sales, marketing and customer support. McGill will be replacing AVT’s outgoing president, Amir Dekel, who will be leaving the company after one year serving in this position. Dekel has been with AVT since 2001, and had been vice president of marketing prior to his tenure as president of the Americas. In succeeding Dekel, McGill is actually rejoining AVT, having previously served 15 years with the company, most recently as its vice president of sales for North America. Overall, McGill has more than 25 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, including former sales management posi- tions with Autologic/Triple-I, Scitex, Dalim Software GmbH and HP Indigo. We thank Amir Dekel for his contributions over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” Bobst Promotes Brian Kentopp to Vice President, Business Unit Sheet Fed ROSELAND, NJ—Bobst North America is pleased to announce that Brian Kentopp has been promoted to vice president, business unit sheet fed for North America effective June 9. Brian will be responsible for all corrugated board and folding carton business in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, Brian had been director of sales for corrugated board, served as product manager for corrugated board, and began his career at Bobst in 2002 as regional sales manager for corrugated board in the Midwest. Greg Barba New President at Trinity Graphic SARASOTA, FL—Trinity Graphic has appointed former VP of Sales & Marketing Greg Barba as its new president, effective July 1. A provider of high quality wide format printing and flexographic prepress services throughout North America and South America for more than 45 years, Trinity Graphic began initiating a series of corporate image, product and service enhancements in June. These efforts included new branding, marketing and new com- pany website, along with new printing technology and prod- ucts—enabling Trinity Graphic to diversify offerings to current customers, as well as enter new markets. With more than 25 years of experience in the printing indus- try, Barba’s vision for the company is to keep moving it in new directions and continue exploring new markets using the latest equipment and technology in innovative ways. For the company, this means moving beyond its traditional printing of banners and posters, to focusing on new products such as “E xpres- sions,” its new digitally printed wall coverings. “Our customers’ needs are constantly changing,” said Barba. “So we have recently diversified our company and business model with a significant investment in the latest technologies. I am thrilled to be a part of this team.
