Schilling to Anderson & Vreeland, Green & Dedman to Provident Group BRYAN, OH—Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary The Provident Group have announced a trio of personnel changes. Anderson & Vreeland has appointed Kevin Schilling to serve as technologies specialist. Schilling will assist Ander- son & Vreeland customers throughout the U.S . and Canada with platemaking optimization, mounting, press side assis- tance and quality control. “Kevin’s knowledge and experience is a perfect fit for his role as technologies specialist for A&V,” said Jessica Harkins Harrell, technologies manager for Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. “He has a lot to offer our customers and we are very excited to have him on board,” she added. Schilling brings to his new position substantial prepress and press experience, and has in depth knowledge of plates and sleeves. He is a graduate of the University of Wiscon- sin – Stout, with a Graphic Communications Management degree. The appointment of Randy Carter as technical sales rep- resentative for The Provident Group was also announced by Andrew Gillis, Provident’s general manager. Carter will provide technical sales and service support, including introducing new, innovative solutions and technologies to Provident’s customers throughout the southeastern U.S . “Randy’s knowledge and experience, coupled with Provi- dent’s expanded product line and winning solutions for the pressroom, are a real benefit for our customers,” said Gillis. “Randy is widely respected and we are very fortunate to now have him on our team,” added Gillis. Ed Dedman brings a wealth of printing experience to his new position as technical sales representative for The Provi- dent Group, leading manufacturer and distributor of doctor blades, end seals and innovative solutions for the printing industry. Dedman offers 35 years printing experience having served in a variety of roles including ink production, technical service, quality control, R&D, sales, product devel- opment, technical marketing and business management. “Ed’s in depth printing experience makes him a tremendous resource for Provident’s customers. His experience and contacts, coupled with Provident’s innovative solutions for the printing industry, present a winning combination that is truly unique,” said Andrew Gillis, general manager for The Provident Group. Dedman is active in the label and packaging industry, and serves as chairperson and long time member of the Flexographic Technical Association’s Supplier Leadership Council. Schilling Carter Dedman Johnny Stamey Promoted to Doctor Blade Technical Product Manager at Max Daetwyler HUNTERSVILLE, NC—Johnny Stamey has been named doctor blade technical product manager for Max Daetwyler Corp. He will cover the U.S., Canada and Mexico markets in his new role, performing pressroom audits and training. Johnny has worked in the industry for 27 years and spent the last 13 years with Daetwyler as a regional sales manager. He is actively involved in FTA, GAA and TLMI. Prior to that, Johnny was employed at Keating Gravure, running a proof press and working with gravure cylinders. Harper’s Greg Harms Now Technical Account Manager CHARLOTTE, NC—Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America is excited to announce that Greg Harms has accepted the position as technical account manager for the Midwest narrow web territory. He started in this new role on July 1 and relocated to Minnesota. Harms has amassed more than 20 years of experience in pro- duction and manage- ment throughout the flexographic industry. He joined Harper Cor- poration in May 2012 as the Southeast HGS Advisor, a role that he has excelled in. Pri- or to this position, he was the Operations Manager at St. Louis Pressure Sensitive.
